The Availibility Manager should plan for handover, identify all tasks and actions necessary for a smooth transition of the
Technology Availability Management process to the Client or other Service Provider. This should include the items to be
handed over, deadlines for each handover activity, and the resource responsible for handover activity.
During the Transition Handover-Out phase, one of the important tasks to be completed is to archive all relevant documents
and records. The Availability Manager should ensure that all documents and records are archived and stored in a repository
for future purpose. The Availability Manager should create a Technology Availability Management Handover Report summarizing
all the activites of the handover.
Engagement Manager should obtain client-sign off on the Technology Availability Management handover activities which
confirms the formal closure of the process.
